As Per My Last Email presents a proposition for a subverted business suit. Drawing on the provocation of ‘frivolity’, the garments aims to disrupt the seriousness we associate with corporate workwear.

“wobble, warp, wiggle...”
This reinterpretation of the business suit, drew on the concept of subverting the pinstripe - how this traditionally tailored and sensible fabric, could become frivolous and fun. Transforming the rigid, woven fabric into a stretch with a grid shirring technique, gave the fabric a visual and physical wobble texture. This warped the pinstripes from a straight line into a wiggle, in a transgressive anti-tailoring of the cloth.
